WHAT IS THE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM?
Ocean City Church's Leadership Development Program is a one year ministry training program in which students of the program will have access to all areas of ministry at Ocean City Church. As a church, we believe that leadership is developed first and foremost through serving, and secondly, through proximity with other leaders. Ocean City Church prioritizes behind-the-scenes opportunities and observation of leaders as a main means for training individuals to lead.
Our goal is to train students of the program to be leaders in the global church by learning and doing what is required to serve the local church. The goal for this program is that, at the completion of the year, the participant will have first-hand experience and knowledge in the daily and weekly requirements of the leaders at Ocean City Church. We’ll challenge you to be greater as you invest your life in something with an eternal impact, leveraging your life for what matters most.
Each Leadership Development Program participant commits to serve for 12 months, a normal calendar year, and volunteer for approximately 20 hours per week.
